A few representative examples of realtime, audio-focused products built on embedded Linux and DSP.

Yocto Amlogic Product

Realtime audio distro for embedded Linux

A low-latency Linux platform for audio hardware — PREEMPT_RT kernel, tuned ALSA/JACK stack, and a headless service layer delivering sub-3 ms round-trip latency on ARM SoCs.

Role — Platform architecture & realtime tuning

  • Embedded Linux (Yocto)
  • PREEMPT_RT
  • ALSA / JACK
  • C++

JUCE Linux Windowless UI

A JUCE based GUI application that runs bare metal rendering

Development of a GUI rendering framework using JUCE, that runs on ARM based Linux systems without the use of heavyweight windowing frameworks.

Role — Framework development & optimisation

  • JUCE
  • C++
  • Framebuffer
  • Hardware acceleration

Mixer Console Control Surface

Low latency control surface for podcasting

Construction of inter-processor control surface API and Linux Multi-Function driver development, enabling responsive control surface interaction.

Role — Driver development, deployment and testing

  • GD32 MCU
  • MFD Kernel
  • UART
  • C++/C

NDI Monitor

Mobile NDI monitor tooling for Android

iOS and Android NDI monitor application and tooling suite for live monitoring of network video and audio streams

Role — Application development and deployment

  • Networking
  • Video/Audio
  • Android OS
  • Kotlin
  • Swift
